Kbamboo Story

My name is Sonya and Kbamboo is a company that  I started in 2019, my story started in 2010 when I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 37, after my operation I had chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Thankfully I am caner free but the treatment left me with hot flushes for a few years. Then in 2018 I had a hysterectomy at the age of 44, unfortunately I began early menopause as a result . As every women who has ever experienced this, it is a nightmare, hot flushes ……. and much more , but the worst for me was the night sweats because of the disrupted sleep.

I have worked in bedding for over ten years so I was very familiar with the different options available to try, and believe me I tried them all( gel mats, gel pillows ….) and none of them worked so I began my search for something that would allow me to sleep comfortably throughout the night, and that is how I stumbled on Organic Bamboo Bed Linen.

When I slept  in bamboo the first night I only wanted bed linen that would wick away the moisture while  I slept, I didn’t realise that it would also be so super soft, comfortable and cozy all at the same time. I couldn’t believe that it wasn’t available to other people who were experiencing the same  warm restless nights. I was sold  and so began KBABMOO.

People have asked me  what the K in KBAMBOO stands for it stands for KIND, because organic bamboo is kind to our skin and our environment. The response that Kbamboo has received has been amazing to me,the positive feedback, the kind and lovely emails from our customers has been really encouraging.

So that’s the Story of Kbamboo so far !!!
