Will Bamboo Sheets Pill ?

Our sheets do not pill if they are cared for properly. Pilling is caused by too much heat, harsh chemicals and abrasion from friction. Using harsh detergents, placing them in the washing machine with rougher fabrics and excessive tossing and turning in the bed will cause your sheets to pill. Also if you regularly toss and turn in bed, we recommend using a mattress protector which will reduce the friction between the sheets and the mattress.

How Often Should I Wash My Sheets?

Laundry Experts recommend that you wash your sheets every week or every fortnight. This is the same with bamboo sheets or cotton sheets.
If you leave your sheets on your bed for a long period of time, the fabric becomes stretched and becomes difficult for it to recover it’s shape. This makes them more prone to tearing when you wash them.

Can I put my sheets in the dryer?

Although we recommend air drying your sheets, you can put them in the dryer on the lowest heat setting. You must take them out of the dryer immediately so they will not overheat in the dryer, as this will damage the bamboo fibers and cause your sheets to shrink.
