Oeko – Tex Certified Bed Linen

Kbamboo is  300 thread count bed linen i which is  OEKO-TEX certified and  made from 100% organic bamboo fibr.

Bamboo by nature is grown in the wild and doesn’t need fertiliser or pesticides.

Bamboo is very sustainable and fast-growing  and because it requires no fertiliser and  also self-regenerates from its own roots it doesn’t need to be replanted. When compared to cotton cultivation, which requires large amounts of water, pesticides, and even labour.
Amazingly bamboos growth is not just fast it is at record-breaking speed, the time from when a new shoot emerges  to when it reaches its full height, in general it takes bamboo  60 days to reach its full height.

What is the OEKO ?

OEKO-TEX  is a standard certification  which regulates the manufacturing processes of textiles internationally, it ensures that no harmful chemicals were used in the process of producing and treating the fabrics.

Products with an Oeko-Tex certification are free from over 100 chemicals and substances that are harmful to human health.

OEKO  also ensures that every part that goes into the end product is strictly assessed to qualify for the certification, this includes the fabric and buttons to the thread.

Organic and Oeko-Tex certified products limit the number of toxic chemicals that have the potential to contaminate the environment.

Being kind to the environment is import to Kbamboo and eliminating toxic chemicals from our products and ensuring that our textiles are ethically manufactured and biodegradable.

Why is the OEKO – Tex certified important?

OEKO ensures that harmful chemicals involved in both the growing and manufacturing process of most textiles are absent in organic and Oeko-Tex certified bed sheets.
Chemicals and substances can irritate certain areas of the body  such as the eyes, throat, nose and skin and therefore ensuring that these are not used in the manufacturing process is very important.
